Alisal is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Evergreen Valley just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. The game between them and the Cougars didn't end well, with Alisal falling 56-41.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Soledad). They blew past Monterey, posting a 69-38 win. The Aztecs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Soledad's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Alisal, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Everything came up roses for Alisal against Soledad in their previous meeting last Saturday, as the team secured a 56-22 win. Will Alisal repeat their success, or does Soledad have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
