Softball Recap: Southmoore Comes Up Short

Southmoore fell victim to Mustang and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Broncos. Surprisingly, this marked the SaberCats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Southmoore now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mustang, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Southmoore will take on Jenks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mustang, they will venture away from home to challenge Lone Grove at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Broncos 0.8, the Longhorns 1.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
