Basketball Recap: Tracy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Tracy entered their matchup against Kimball on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tracy Bulldogs fell just short of the Kimball Jaguars by a score of 38-36. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 53-42 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kimball's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Coronado, who posted 13 points and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Coronado has scored at least a third of Kimball's points. Another player making a difference was Nadia Mirghani, who earned seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Tracy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Kimball, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Tracy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-35 loss against Lodi on the 9th. Kimball has also already played their next game, a 51-30 defeat against Lincoln on the 9th.
