Soccer Recap: Rock Springs Christian Academy Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Rock Springs Christian Academy challenged Heritage on Monday. The Eagles lost 10-0 to the Hawks. While losing is never fun, Rock Springs Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while Heritage are ranked 90th).

Rock Springs Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Heritage, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Springs Christian Academy will face off against St. George's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage, they will square off against Lakeview Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
