After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norwalk, Oak Harbor was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Huron Tigers a 5-0 shutout. Oak Harbor might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

With the win, Oak Harbor broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-8-1. As for Huron, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Coming up, Oak Harbor will welcome Otsego at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huron, they will take on Northwood in a tournament on the 18th. Huron will be up against Northwood's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.29 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
