Baseball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Bowdon

Bowdon lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Mt. Zion, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. Everything went the Bowdon Red Devils' way against the Mt. Zion Eagles on Tuesday as the Bowdon Red Devils made off with a 15-4 win. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 7-5 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The win was the fifth in a row for Bowdon, bringing their record for this year to 11-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Mt. Zion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
