Soccer Game Preview: Hamilton vs. Banning

The Hamilton Yankees will face off against the Banning Pilots at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hamilton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Taft by a score of 3-1.

Merced Aguilar Lopez and Brianna Arter scored all three of Hamilton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, Banning kept a clean sheet against North Hollywood on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Huskies. The result kept Banning happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 21st.

Banning's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Hamilton, they now have a winning record of 11-10-3.
