Football Game Preview: Imlay City Spartans vs. Algonac Muskrats + How To Watch

The Imlay City Spartans will take on the Algonac Muskrats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Imlay City made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Yale, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Spartans fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 14-12 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Algonac came up short against Almont on Friday, falling 46-22. While losing is never fun, the Muskrats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Raiders are ranked 164th).

Imlay City's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Algonac, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Imlay City barely slipped by Algonac in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 23-22. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Muskrats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
