Baseball Recap: Chattahoochee County Comes Up Short

Chattahoochee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-4 to the Schley County Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 last Tuesday.

Chattahoochee County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Schley County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Coming up, Chattahoochee County will take on Crawford County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Schley County, they will square off against Deerfield-Windsor at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
