Soccer Recap: Foothill's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Foothill's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Livermore Cowboys onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Cowboys are ranked 542nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-4. As for Livermore, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

Foothill will venture away from home to challenge Carondelet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carondelet will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Foothill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Livermore, they will welcome California at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
