Basketball Recap: Redlands Terriers vs. Cajon Cowboys
Redlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 46-19 loss at the hands of the Cajon Cowboys. The Terriers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-2.
Cajon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylah Guillory, who posted 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Guillory is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Jasmine Jackson was another key player, putting up nine points.
Redlands' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Cajon, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redlands will venture away from home to square off against Yucaipa at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cajon, they will face off against Citrus Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cajon is facing Citrus Valley at the right time seeing as Citrus Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
