Basketball Recap: Lassen Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lassen was the 38-35 winner over Las Plumas when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the Grizzlies and the Thunderbirds didn't end well, with the Grizzlies falling 61-46.

Las Plumas had a senior duo take command as Ava Hepworth almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds and Mylee Olivieri went 5-for-10 to rack up 15 points. Hepworth is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taydym George, who put up 13 points and six rebounds.

Lassen's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Las Plumas, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Lassen has already played their next contest, a 47-34 defeat against Orland on the 13th. As for Las Plumas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-33 loss against Lincoln on the 13th.
