Ankeny Centennial's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Marshalltown. Ankeny Centennial's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four games.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Ames and Waukee, and Ames kept the tradition alive. The Little Cyclones put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 4-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Ames, who have now won 14 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.
