Baseball Recap: Proctor Takes a Loss

Proctor was the 15-1 winner over Moose Lake/Willow River when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rails took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels on Tuesday.

Proctor has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Moose Lake/Willow River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Proctor will head out to challenge Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moose Lake/Willow River, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Mesabi East on the 26th.
