Soccer Game Preview: Rosemont vs. Argonaut

The Rosemont Wolverines will head out on the road to take on the Argonaut Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Rosemont will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Rosemont's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They skirted past Liberty Ranch 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Wolverines were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Argonaut's offense. They fell 2-0 to Galt on Wednesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rosemont has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven games. As for Argonaut, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7-2.

Rosemont was able to grind out a solid win over Argonaut when the teams last played back in January, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rosemont since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
