Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Cascade). Everything went their way against the Waukon Indians on Friday as they made off with  a  14-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
Cascade's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-3. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Waukon,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-12.
 Cascade wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  an  8-7  victory against Maquoketa on the 21st. As for Waukon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  an  11-1  defeat against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 21st.
