Soccer Game Preview: Upper Lake vs. Willits + How To Watch

The Upper Lake Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Willits Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Lake's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Upper Lake fell victim to Fort Bragg and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Willits also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kelseyville on Thursday.

Willits was without their leading scorer, Luis Mandujano, in Thursday's contest. With Mandujano sitting this one out, Agustin Valenzuela got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 50).

Upper Lake's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Willits, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1.

Upper Lake might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Willits in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
