@EFrantzMP’s High School Football Great Lakes Region Final Rankings

By Eric Frantz Dec 9, 2020, 10:00am

This year's final look at the top prep football teams in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota.

The Great Lakes states are defined - in large - by silos, steeples and Friday night stadium lights. With competition completed in 2020 (for now...Michigan will revisit plans for continuing athletics on Dec. 20), here's our final take on the top high school programs in the region that played football in the fall of 2020: Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota. Also listed are the Final Top 25 teams in each state according to the MaxPreps Computer Rankings.

Illinois and New York will play football in 2021.

National acclaim and big-time talent. North Coast football is always a force.
St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia), Center Grove (Ind.) and Archbishop Hoban (Akron) finished 1-3 in the final great lakes rankings.
