Basketball Recap: Potter Valley Comes Up Short

Potter Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Grace Christian Academy Lions, falling 56-31. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-30 back in December of 2024.

Potter Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Grace Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Potter Valley will face off against Laytonville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Round Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian Academy is on a four-game streak of home wins, Round Valley a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
