Softball Recap: West Marshall Drops Highest Score of Season Against Nevada

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Marshall). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Nevada Cubs a 15-0 shutout on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now won eight in a row.

West Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Nevada, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

West Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-6 win against Chariton on the 12th. Nevada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
