Soccer Game Preview: Terra Linda vs. Redwood

Terra Linda is 0-9-1 against Redwood since January of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Terra Linda Trojans will look to defend their home pitch against the Redwood Giants at 3:15 p.m.

Terra Linda is headed into Thursday's following a draw, the team's first since December 14. Neither they nor Tamalpais could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Redwood brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Their defense stepped up to hand San Rafael a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was close at the half, but the Giants pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit San Rafael with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sarah Farese (2), Shona Gallagher, and Evelyn Spiegel.

With that draw, Terra Linda's record moves to 5-2-3. As for Redwood, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-3.
