South Gwinnett made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Central Gwinnett, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Comets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Black Knights on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for South Gwinnett, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Central Gwinnett with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rahjae Nelson, Ronaldo Barnett, and Shiloh Murphy.

South Gwinnett pushed their record up to 8-9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matches. As for Central Gwinnett, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Gwinnett will host Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Gwinnett, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Milton at 7:30 p.m.
