Football Recap: Jake Hardy and Kaleo Elam Pace Aliso Niguel Defense

Aliso Niguel's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Orange Panthers by a score of 17-10. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brady Defrain had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 122 yards and a pair of scores. Those 122 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Aliso Niguel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jake Hardy and Kaleo Elam.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Star Thomas, who threw for 285 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 69 yards.

Aliso Niguel's record is now 6-3. As for Orange, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Aliso Niguel wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 31-10 win against Fountain Valley on the 30th. As for Orange, they have also already played their next matchup, a 24-9 victory against Laguna Beach on the 31st.
