Basketball Recap: Otto-Eldred Skates Past Northern Potter with Ease

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Otto-Eldred walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Northern Potter Panthers 61-26. The Terrors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Otto-Eldred was led to victory by Baylee Francis and Rayel Hakes. Francis went 6-for-8 en route to 15 points, while Hakes went 5-for-6 on her way to 10 points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Francis a new career-high in field goal percentage (75%). Another player making a difference was Addie Bell, who posted seven points.

Otto-Eldred smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Otto-Eldred's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Northern Potter, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Coming up, Otto-Eldred will take on Clarion-Limestone at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northern Potter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
