Baseball Game Preview: Stanton Blue Devils vs. Wolfson Wolfpack

The Stanton Blue Devils will be taking part in a tournament against the Wolfson Wolfpack at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stanton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Stanton got the win against Zephyrhills Christian Academy by a conclusive 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Stanton got a massive performance out of Yandi Torres, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave Torres a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Wolfson beat Atlantic Coast 8-3 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolfpack.

Nick Fischer was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Jaydin Morrissey was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

The win got Wolfson back to even at 10-10. As for Stanton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Stanton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Wolfson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Stanton couldn't quite finish off Wolfson in their previous matchup on March 6th and fell 5-3. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
