Logan-Rogersville won against Cassville on Wednesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Monett Cubs. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cubs, too.

The win made it two in a row for Logan-Rogersville and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Monett, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Logan-Rogersville and Monett will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will square off against rival West Plains at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th. Meanwhile, Monett is set to take on their familiar foe Aurora at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
