Preview: South Hills Huskies vs. Linfield Christian Lions
The South Hills Huskies's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Linfield Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. South Hills will be strutting in after a win while Linfield Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Monday, South Hills beat West Covina 39-30. Given South Hills' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while West Covina is ranked 1031st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Linfield Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Sultana 65-33.
South Hills has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Linfield Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-8.
Everything came up roses for South Hills against Linfield Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 70-35 victory. Does South Hills have another victory up their sleeve, or will Linfield Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
