Softball Recap: Fox Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mehlville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fox). They never let the Mehlville Panthers get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Fox let Maddie Baldridge and Avery McKinnon run wild. Baldridge went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while McKinnon went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits McKinnon has posted since back in October of 2024. Lucy Drazich was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Fox's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Mehlville, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Fox will face off against Northwest at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mehlville, they will venture away from home to challenge Oakville at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
