Football Game Preview: Creekside Seminoles vs. Pace Academy Knights + How To Watch

The Creekside Seminoles will challenge the Pace Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Creekside's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Pace Academy's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Creekside hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Seminoles simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat M.L. King 69-0. Fans of the Seminoles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Creekside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cayden Benson led the charge by throwing for 173 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes. The Seminoles' leading receiver Damien Henderson was Benson's top target yet again, picking up 96 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Creekside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 194 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Creekside's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. In that department, Amarion Jones was the leader with two sacks. Decari Farley was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pace Academy). They blew past Drew, posting a 38-7 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Creekside's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Pace Academy, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Creekside against Pace Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-0 victory. Will the Seminoles repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
