The Conestoga Christian Cougars suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2023 on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 51-25 walloping at the hands of Alliance Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Conestoga Christian has suffered against Alliance Christian since January 28, 2019.
Conestoga Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Michaela Mcgahey, who scored three points along with two steals, and Aubrey Weaver who scored nine points.
Conestoga Christian dropped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Alliance Christian, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conestoga Christian will take on Harrisburg Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrisburg Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Alliance Christian, they will be playing at home against Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Dayspring Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
