Soccer Recap: Los Angeles CES Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Los Angeles CES has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Palisades Dolphins on Friday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Unicorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Dolphins are ranked 51st).

Los Angeles CES's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Palisades, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Los Angeles CES will be playing at home against Hamilton at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palisades, they will head out on the road to challenge Westchester at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Westchester: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Palisades has snatched up seven consecutive wins on the road.
