Softball Recap: Olive Comes Up Short

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Prue Rockets, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 back in August.

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Prue, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olive will venture away from home to face off against Wellston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prue, they will square off against Foyil at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.64 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
