Atkinson County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 67-47 margin over the Brantley County Herons. For the Rebels, this counts as revenge for the 57-40 win the Herons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Brantley County is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
