Baseball Recap: North Central Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for North Central's offense. They came up short against the Fairview Apaches on Friday, falling 8-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 11th.

This is the second loss in a row for North Central and nudges their season record down to 11-7. As for Fairview, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, North Central will square off against Lenawee Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairview, they will take on Defiance at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Apaches 2.8, the Bulldogs 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
