Soccer Recap: Shepherd Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shepherd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clare Pioneers. Even if Shepherd couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Clare, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Shepherd will take on Gladwin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clare, they will square off against Standish-Sterling at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
