September 10, 2025: Shepherd, MI 48883 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) and the host Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), saw Clare's soccer squad hold off Shepherd by a count of 5-4.
The Pioneers (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 8-2 record.
The Bluejays now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Gladwin for a non-league match on Monday, September 15. Shepherd will meet a Flying G's team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Flying G's record now stands at 1-6.
