Soccer Recap: Grovetown's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Grovetown got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They skirted past the South Gwinnett Comets 2-1. The Warriors wouldn't have won without Christopher Forrest, who scored the game-winner.

With the victory, Grovetown broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for South Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Grovetown wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Archer on the 4th. As for South Gwinnett, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 win against Heritage on the 4th.
