The result came thanks to Maggie Brown's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Karlee Thomas was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Edge, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
