Softball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Moss

While Moss's victory against Strother wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Yellowjackets on Saturday. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Moss pushed their record up to 8-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Strother, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1.

Moss didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Paden on the 8th. As for Strother, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Varnum on the 6th.
