Soccer Recap: Denver Comes Up Short

Denver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 23, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Denver's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-3. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9-8.

Coming up, Denver will square off against Aplington-Parkersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Decorah-North Winneshiek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
