Football Game Preview: Bloomfield Bobcats vs. Taos Tigers + Official Tickets

Bloomfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Bernalillo a 49-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won ten matchups by 41 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Taos made off with a 25-24 victory over Albuquerque Academy. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

One of the most notable was Evan Salazar, who threw for 400 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 55 yards and one score. Those 400 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Alejandro Ortega was Salazar's top target, picking up 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Taos, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
