Baseball Game Preview: Norcross Blue Devils vs. Berkmar Patriots

Norcross is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Berkmar a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Norcross Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Berkmar Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Norcross has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Norcross didn't have quite enough to beat Brookwood and fell 11-10. Even if the Blue Devils couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Berkmar fell victim to Peachtree Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Berkmar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Norcross, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.

Norcross took their win against Berkmar when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0. Does Norcross have another victory up their sleeve, or will Berkmar turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
