Soccer Recap: Geyserville Comes Up Short

If Geyserville was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Rio Lindo Adventist on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bronchos fell just short of the Roseland Collegiate Prep Grizzlies by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Geyserville has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for Roseland Collegiate Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geyserville will challenge Mendocino at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roseland Collegiate Prep, they will venture away from home to square off against Credo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Credo's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
