Desert Christian piles up the points against Littlerock

Recap: Desert Christian Knights vs. Littlerock Lobos

The Desert Christian Knights entered their tilt with the Littlerock Lobos with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Desert Christian simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Littlerock 41-8 at home. That 33 points margin sets a new team best for Desert Christian this season.

Desert Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Armstrong, who scored 13 points along with eight steals. Armstrong hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Duffee, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and five steals.

Desert Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Littlerock, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Desert Christian will square off against St. Monica Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Littlerock, they will head out on the road to square off against Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Antelope Valley's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Littlerock has been banged up by 14 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
