Baseball Recap: Pontiac Comes Up Short

Pontiac fell victim to Bloomington and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Purple Raiders, falling 10-0. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Pontiac saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anderson Horning, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Aden Brummel also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Pontiac's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Bloomington, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-21.

Pontiac does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bloomington has already played their next contest (against Galesburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
