Baseball Recap: Worth County Comes Up Short

Worth County and Swainsboro squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Worth County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rams haven't been shut out since back in March.

Worth County's loss dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Swainsboro, their win bumped their record up to 12-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Worth County beat the Tigers by a score of 6-0 later that day.
