Basketball Game Preview: Vista Panthers vs. Granite Hills Eagles

The Vista Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Granite Hills Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Vista challenged El Camino on Wednesday. Vista enjoyed a cozy 53-38 win over El Camino.

Isabella Mosley was her usual excellent self, putting up 13 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists. Jordyn Lowe was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 14 points.

Vista smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills was able to grind out a solid victory over Steele Canyon on Friday, taking the game 52-44.

The win got Granite Hills back to even at 8-8. As for Vista, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.
