Manheim Central came tearing into Thursday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-34 win over the Northern York Polar Bears. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Barons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 76th).

Manheim Central pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Northern York, their loss dropped their record down to 20-3.
