Soccer Recap: Berkmar Takes a Loss

Berkmar fought the good fight in their overtime game against Parkview on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. Berkmar just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Frankmauro Ferreras and Eric Mendez scored both of Berkmar's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Berkmar's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Parkview, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkmar will challenge Norcross at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkview, they will face off against Brookwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkview's defense better be ready for this one: Brookwood has averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season.
