Softball Recap: Wetumka Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Wetumka's offense. They came up short against the Earlsboro Wildcats on Friday, falling 10-0. The Chieftains were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Wetumka's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Earlsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Wetumka didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Strother on the 13th. As for Earlsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Macomb on the 13th.
